Government Of Sikkim

Covid19 Transmission Chain Prevention System

Message of the Honorable Governor of Sikkim

It gives me immense pleasure to dedicate the online self registration portal along with the chief minister of Sikkim. I would take this opportunity to seek for the cooperation of every citizen of our State during this Global COVID 19 pandemic. Till date, not a single case has been detected in our State of Sikkim, but that does not mean we can afford to be complacent. I appeal to all citizens to take this day to focus and become aware of the consequences of this pandemic disease and take steps to protect ourselves and our close ones. I urgeall to report any travel history in the last 14 days be it by the students, working professionals or anygovernmentand private employees. Any of the three following ways to inform the government may be used:

  • BY CALLING 104 Health Helpline number
  • BY REGISTERING ON THE ONLINE PORTAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM www.covid19sikkim.org or http://sikkim.nic.in
  • BY CALLING your respective District Administrative Centre

The sanitization protocol of social distancing and hand washing is to be observed at all the times. The above mentioned portal also enables registered people to report any symptoms like fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, sore throat, body ache etc.

I would like to inform that the Government is taking all necessary steps to prevent and contain the disease in the State. At the same time, optimal measures to ensure preparedness are taken. Every effort is being made to ensure an uninterrupted supply of essentials commodities to the public.

I urge citizens to download the AarogyaSetu app on their smartphones as a critical link in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19, in the State. Lastly, it is imperative that we remember to avoid social gathering, enforce social distancing, practice hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette. Each one of us must protect ourselves, our families and the entire Society. HELP US TO HELP YOU.

Stay Safe, Stay home.
